ABOUT US
Hodan is a registered charity working with the Somali and wider BAME community in London to reduce poverty, build skills and confidence, enhance wellbeing, and promote inclusion and social cohesion.
Our free, AQS-accredited Advice and Information Service helps people solve complex problems involving housing, benefits, utilities, etc. The ‘invisible’ impacts include preventing homelessness, keeping families together and averting mental health crises.
What We Offer
Hodan provides a range of services directly to the community in West London. We offer a holistic and person-centred service. Most service users experience a blend of face-to-face, telephone-based and online (e.g., Zoom) provision, depending on their needs.
OUR SERVICES
Hodan reduces social isolation and improves mental health through a Befriending Project for elderly people. Additionally, Hodan offer a Social Space & Wellbeing Clubs for Women with free online Zumba classes. We give people the confidence to make new friends and access services.
